Forgiveness

Published on August 27, 2008

Like many of you, I’ve been following the story of Orem boy, Bridger Hunt. Bridger was almost killed when a homemade firework severed his leg on the 4th of July. He is recovering and doing well. The man accused of maiming Bridger made an appearance in court today. Bridger’s mother was there and the Deseret [...]

Microsoft enlists Jerry Seinfeld to counter Apple’s deceptive and unethical advertising

Published on August 21, 2008

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a serious problem with Apple’s “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC” ads. I think the whole campaign incredibly deceptive and unethical. Its one of the main reasons I have never made the switch to Apple - and I have been tempted on several occasions.
Microsoft is finally fighting back. [...]

OK, when I was 14 I did some pretty dumb things. Locking myself in a gun safe was not one of them. Oh, but there was this time when I took my mom’s Ford Aero Star and…ah…well…nevermind. Here’s the video:

Here’s a usability tip for the safe manufacture: when you build a safe that can hold [...]

Go ahead and call me a skeptical conspiracy theorist but I have the feeling we’re not getting the whole picture (or truth) on the country’s current economic situation. I am curious to learn the following from my readers:
- Do you feel like you’re getting ahead or falling behind?
- Do you have enough left over at the [...]

I.O.U.S.A opening in Utah on August 21st - plan to be there!

Published on August 5, 2008

I was just on the phone with Jeremy Hanks. He pointed me to an up coming documentary called I.O.U.S.A., which is all about our current financial crisis and where the country is heading if we don’t turn things around.
Fathom Events is showing the film on Aug. 21st at locations all over Utah and they will then have a [...]

The dangers of SMS and other addictive technologies

I ran across this story today and it really illustrates some things I’ve been thinking about lately:
A 25-year-old driver in Cass County offered a lesson Sunday in what not to do while driving.
When pulled over by a sheriff’s deputy, not only was he traveling at speeds near 80 miles per hour, but he also said he’d [...]
