What I Learned from Mountainpalooza

Posted by Chris Knudsen on June 26th, 2006

Last Friday I had one of the best afternoons of mountain biking in my entire life. Thanks to Jeff, Jeff, Matt and Adam for making it such a great time. I’m already planning the July trip.

Fresh mountain air, adrenaline and good old fashion exercise can bring great moments of clarity to ones mind.  I didn’t realize how stressed I have been until driving home on Friday night.  I really cleared out a lot of bad crap on that mountain. That was the best $14 I’ve ever spent. I’ve resolved to do this a lot more often. Its the only way to make sure I don’t have a heart attack at 32.

This week I am going out of town for a pioneer re-enactment with the youth at my church. I wasn’t looking forward to that until last week.  I hope that trip does for my soul what Mountainpalooza did for my mental state.
