I was out to lunch with Judd Bagley and Paul Allen yesterday. We were meeting with a very high profile person in 10Speed Media’s space. He was great. At one point in the conversation he gave us some advice and then said, “that advice was worth millions of dollars in revenue”. It was. Paul and I both looked at each other like “wow that was cool”.
Who is advising you? Do you trust them? How do you know you can trust them? Is the person qualified to give you advice on the thing you are seeking advice on? It is so important to talk to the right people. I posted not long ago about taking advice from others. Give it a read. Bottom line: beware who you take your advice from and don’t be afraid to question advice.Â
Its a simple concept often lost on advanced minds.
