I was pondering over Jason Chaffetz 3rd Congressional district win last night. Congrats to Jason…so long Chris Cannon. I think this is going to be a good change.
I read a funny article in which a reporter published an email sent by Bill Gates to some Microsoft employees about all the crappy usability issues with Microsoft.com. As I read over the email, it dawned on me that probably no one on the planet is a harsher critic of MS’s crap then Bill Gates. Think about it (or read about it). So when Bill hangs it up this week will that be a good or bad change for MS? Only time will tell.
On that note, don’t tell me that switching from a PC to Mac is the change I need to cure me of all my MS woes. Apple has plenty of issues as well and you know it.
Democrats looked at Barak Obama as a change agent and handed him the nomination. If history is any indicator, Barak will be no change agent. Look at his fellow Democrats in the House and Senate. All they’ve done is continue to fund the war in Iraq. Didn’t we put them in power in 2006 to end the war in Iraq? Not only have they continued to fund the war, they’ve lumped billions in earmarks on top of defense spending bills sending the national debt even further into the red. Way go Democrats! Nice “change”.
The Democrats have never, never “changed” a thing. Their only solution to any problem is more regulation, higher taxes, and more social programs - all things that Barak is actively campaigning for. So don’t preach to me about how inspirational Obama is and how he’s going to change the world. All a first term president cares about is getting to a second term. Remember Bill Clinton?
As for me, its finally summer, and my wife is eight months pregnant. I’m loving the change!
Congrats on the new addition. Sorry I didn’t know about that.
