If you have any insight into my questions below please feel free to educate me in the comments:
I thought Mac’s didn’t have the dreaded blue screen of death? Looks like thats not the case for some new Leopard installs. I haven’t seen a blue screen on a Windows operating system in about seven years. Maybe I’m just lucky?
Speaking or Macs, I was once told that OSX is so good it didn’t need any type of “system restore” function. So what’s Time Machine all about? I thought Macs didn’t need this kind of stuff? Someone please set me strait here.
Why in the world does Apple allow Windows to run on a Mac? Isn’t Apple contributing to Microsoft’s continued domination of the world? How the heck is Apple supposed to drive MS out of business when they keep selling MS’s OS? I can only imagine the laugh that Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer get out of that one.
Is Facebook worth $15 billion? Why or why not? If Facebook is worth $15 billion than what is Plentoffish worth?
What does Move Networks plan on doing with the $40 million in additional venture capital it just brought in? Maybe buy a small country?Â
Who at FEMA thought it would be a good idea to throw a fake news conference about the California wildfires and have its own employees pose as reporters?
Why isn’t your business using SMS to communicate with employees and customers?Â
Why has Ron Paul become so popular among many young Americans?
What are your marketing people doing to drive leads for your salespeople?
Guy Kawasaki spoke in Salt Lake City on Thursday. What did you like or not like about the event? Overall I felt it was good except for the fact that I took it on the chin with several of his comments. Of course, he didn’t mean to be personal and I shouldn’t take it that way. I guess I’m just getting a little tired of the same old stuff - you know - like Macs rule, MBA’s suck and bloggers are freaks (well I might agree with that last one).
At any rate, please feel free to educate me. Thanks in advance.
Mr. Apple feisty, I think maybe all those Apple plugs from Guy hit an open nerve. I did work through the blue screen of death on one of my two Leopard installs. No computer system is perfect. But until I find something better for my needs, I’ll keep using my Mac. Haven’t used TimeMachine yet. I have Mozy for that.
Ron Paul. I’ve seen Ron Paul litter all over the valley. He’s certainly more conservative then GW. Reminds me of the embarrassing statistic from the 1992 Presidential election where Utah was the leading stat supporting Bo Gritz. Maybe we’ll do it all over with Ron Paul.
Left by BradBaldwin on 11/02/2007@Brad:
I wouldn’t classify GW as a real conservative and I’d never lump Bo Gritz in the same category as Ron Paul.
Left by Chris Knudsen on 11/02/2007Oh, I think Move is going to close the door on companies like Joost.
More people use Move than know. If you watch Lost, Grey’s Anatomy or some other ABC show online you’ve been using Move. And it works very, very well. I probably watched 20 television episodes online and I love it.

I agree - their technology is great but $40M? Geeeee…
Left by Chris Knudsen on 11/02/2007That is a lot of money, and they’ve done quite a bit without it. Acquisitions?
