I really enjoy photography. I got into it a couple of years ago but I have never really taken this hobby to the next step and made a real effort to get good at it. I have so much to learn. I’ve thought about taking classes but they always conflict with my schedule.
I’m wondering if any of you have the same problem. If so, I think it would be great to get a group of people together who want to learn more about photography, hire a guy who can provide some instruction to teach this small group and then pool our cash to pay the pro so it doesn’t cost too much. The group could assemble over a couple of Saturdays with the teacher to learn the real ins and outs of this awesome pastime.
If this interests you, please let me know. I think I know where we can find a local photo pro to provide the instruction. Perhaps you are this guy or you know someone who can fill this roll.
Let me know your thoughts.
I’d love to do it!
Left by Phil801 on 05/03/2007I’d love to do something like that.
Left by Russell on 05/03/2007I’m in. I’ve had this nagging at me for a year or two. It’ll be good to cross it off the to-do list.
And then maybe my pictures won’t suck so bad.
Left by Connor on 05/04/2007Thomas Hawk from Zooomr does this with Scoble in something they call photowalking. Basically, the photographer hosts a tour of a location and then all people interested show up and take picutres. I have a friend that is the photographer at The Canyons resort. Not sure if he’s interested, but would help organize if there is enough interested people.
