Weight Loss Wars!
It looks like I’ve been challenged to lose some weight. Phil Burns has created a “Web 2.0 Geek” weight loss competition on Chad Blodgett’s Weight Loss Wars site. OK, I’m in. I really need to burn off some of this winter fat and get ready for summer.
Congratulation to Chad for getting up this service. I love the idea. It flows along with the same philosophy as The Game of Work. That is, when you make a game out of something (sales, weight loss, etc) you always try harder and your chances of success are greater. You also install a “scorekeeping” methodology that helps you better track results compared to those you compete against. The continual feedback makes you try harder. Its a great concept to help you lose weight.
On a similar note, the weather has been beautiful and I’ve started to think about gearing up for Mountainpalooza 2007! Mountainpalooza was a blast last year so lets keep it going. More details to come on the first ride.
