Everybody knows a story that goes something like this sorry tail:
I had a professor in college who was a successful entrepreneur and investor. He seemed to have it all together - a nice house, a nice family, wealth, high position in his church and all the other worldly possessions. One day, seemingly out of the blue, he left his wife for a twenty-something blond and took up other seedy activities.
He forgot what made him a success. He lost sight of the real goal. He checked out.
I have seen this sorry story repeated over and over again. The effects are devastating. Stay true to your family, stay true to your commitments, stay true to God and DON’T CHECK OUT! A wise man once said that no amount of success in the world can compensate for failure in the home. So true!
